On Monday 21 August, coalition member Frank Rivoli and Fraser electorate residents Tom Millar and Alex Ashley Chiew attended a meeting with Daniel Mulino at his office in Sunshine at 10:am.
The meeting lasted 1 hour, we were well received. Tom and Alex had discussions on health, planning, noise and environment. Daniel was lease to communicate with us on the Airport issue. He is in communication with Brimbank Council and is aware of community issues. He is happy to raise the issues discussed with minister King
He went at length to take us through the approval steps and constrains the Airport Act places on the minister. He kept referring to the design of flight paths appears to be the a solution. He side stepped discussion of Avalon Airport, and said a third airport east of Melbourne would take years to build.
